simple makes sense

Most businesses don't need a flashy website to convey their messages. In fact, flashy websites can backfire, either by being too confusing for the reader or too dense for search engines. Why is that important? The reason: Fewer glitches down the road. You're not relying on special software and you're not vulnerable to missed updates. It's sort of like the difference between using a GPS system and a paper map. GPS can be unpredictable. Do you want an unpredictable website?

Here's a simple website that works: Home & Office Upholstery. In the two years since I created it, we've seen a steady uptick in business. Many customers tell us they found us on the web by searching for particular keywords.

I hand-code my websites, but I don't start from scratch. I use high-quality templates that are easy to modify. This website is a good example. A definite time-saver!
